Jannine Waddell is the company’s Managing Director. She was formerly the BBC’s travel editor, responsible for the ‘Holiday’ series, including ‘Holiday 10 Best’, ‘Summer Holiday’ and ’50 Places to See Before You Die’. Prior to joining the BBC, Jannine was executive producer at September Films working on a number of high profile series.

David Cumming
Head of Development

David Cumming is the Company’s Head of Development who left September Films to join Waddell Media. He previously worked as director and series producer at BBC Bristol and Mentorn Films.

Jon-Barrie Waddell
Creative Director

Jon-Barrie Waddell is the Company’s Creative Director. He initiated and developed two important breakthrough series for the company - ‘Chasing Time’ for National Geographic Channel and ‘FutureWeapons’ for Discovery US. He developed and directed ‘Russ Meyer: The King of Sexploitation’ for Five and was co-producer/director of the first series of 'FutureWeapons’. He is currently working on a number of new series and documentaries for US and UK broadcasters.

Irene Boyd is Head of Personnel. She has worked in the company since its inception in 1988. She has been involved in the administration of all its productions.

Sean Murphy
Head of Finance

Sean Murphy is Waddell Media’s Head of Finance. He joined the company in May 2007 having previously been Finance Director for The Tyre Store Ltd since 2002. Sean has extensive experience and knowledge of the media industry. He has worked as Finance Manager at BBC World Service, Chief Accountant at Arabic channel MBC and Financial Controller at Granada Television.
